Upcoming Contracting Opportunity

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) on behalf of the Office of Violent Sex Offender Management (OVSOM), announces its intent to solicit proposals for qualified vendors to provide Client Services, Civil Commitment Center(s) (CCC) to include but not limited to all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and services as specifically identified within the Contract and otherwise do all things necessary for, or incidental to, the location, operation and management of a Civil Commitment Center with associated programs for the treatment and monitoring of Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) Clients assigned to the center.

The Request For Proposal (RFP) #537-16-148105, Civil Commitment Center for Violent Sex Offenders, is scheduled to be released on or before May 25, 2015.

Press Release: Office of Violent Sex Offender Management Board Hires New Executive Director

The Office of Violent Sex Offender Management’s mission is to enhance public safety by developing and implementing strategic management policies to protect the citizens of Texas and enhance protection of victims and potential victims through research based management of sexually violent predators and sex offenders.
